Writing is our chance to have our voices heard and proclaimed throughout the world! Showcasing who I am and who I am called to be, I look to writing as a safe haven to keep me grounded with the earth. While writing provides me with a chance to express the wonderful human being I am, I do have a theory that writing is subjective. Essentially what this means is that what is trash writing to me can be the most beautiful thing you have ever read... (#awkward) Anyway, I believe that in the end, it is important that you gain a fundamental understanding of how to articulate your viewpoints across to your audience. While names, faces, and places will change, the core of your being is held at a constant: hold onto it and be proud of your writing because someone besides your mom is bound to like it...
