Writing is Genre
RHETORIC TALK OF THE DAY! As a writer and future President of the United States, (insert Vinny holding hand to sky) genre is very important to adhere to and there is so much variety to it. Likewise, writing boasts certain rhetorical factors that may ultimately define the core of a text's being. With adherence to my beautiful acronym I found on the internet because I have nothing else better to do with my life, SOAPSTONE/SOAPSDIA, each genre contains a specified audience, purpose, and context. Referencing my glorious Rhetorical Analysis, my writing was to be considered "formal" as I eliminated the usage of personal pronouns and carried out a thesis statement without losing a professional tone. As for the rest of this blog, my genre is informal because I am more personable and mentally destroyed from finals studying. (See what I did there? #informalwriting)
